It would seem our act name is the cause of a slight amount of confusion.
Someone tweeted the @espfringe account for acts at Espionage saying
#espfringe just saw meandyou.tv they were brill, 12pm at whitehourse and are free—

this is a lovely thing for them to say, it is a bummer it’s the wrong name AND the wrong venue. Though we THINK it’s aimed at us, as we couldn’t see a “you and me tv” anywhere in the Fringe programme.
And….AND…we found our review from the first show. It’s titled “You and Me TV – Shea Taylor and Steve Langstaff”.
Great!
We’ve emailed them as we want to use this review because….wait for it….they gave us FOUR STARS!
We’re so pleased to get off the mark with a 4 star review straight away.
On another note, it feels REALLY weird to be doing a show everyday. This is a good life, though it’s a total fantasy life, it’s not real, it’s like a big comedy holiday where we’re bricking it and worrying, then we do the show, it goes well or average (so far, though the one we weren’t really “feeling” is the one that was reviewed, so not ALL bad….) and then see some comedy or go for a pint, or eat something unhealthy. Though my body seems to be craving vegetables already!!
But after another GREAT show today, this is turning into an amazing experience, the Fringe has stolen my heart, but there’s always the worry it’s going to break it into a million pieces. And that day could well be tomorrow!
Current frame of mind – “Another day, another gig! Huzzah!”
