Hiccups. There are always hiccups when ever a plan is made, hurdles to leap over. There has been more than the fair share for the tour and the Edinburgh show, there were bound to be.
The important thing is to keep going, tomorrow will be better. I’ve had to go door to door asking for donations and offering singalong songs to raise funds for my tour, it’s had a decent response. I’ve also applied to various recruitment agencies and have discovered the ugly underbelly of this industry – everyone sees the final act and imagines such a polished lifestyle they don’t see the gruelling slog that supports any act.
That being said, it is a lot of fun and it’s amazing how important a sense of humor actually is for the development and planning of a tour/show.
